This low growing golden mat-forming perennial, is ideal as a moss replacement in a bottle gardens and terrariums.
We use Selaginella in our mixed bowls of begonias and tradescantias to cover the surface of the compost. You'll often see it on our displays at flower shows - it isn't a showstopper, but brings out the colours in the plants around it.
